“I decided to be a sculptor when I was 15 years old. I’ve been refining my own vocabulary of shapes by carving them from solid rock for 50 years.”

Somers Randolph’s studio is in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, just a mile-and-a-half from the historic Santa Fe Plaza. Working with beautiful stones sourced from quarries around the world, he creates his sensuous, undulating forms.
Somers would like to thank his photographer Wendy McEahern for beautifully photographing his work for the last 16 years (and counting); his web designer and videographer Tyler McGhee; and his creative director and copywriter Carrie McCarthy.
