From his studio in the foothills of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Somers Randolph hammers, chisels, and grinds chunks—large and small—of alabaster, marble and travertine into sensuous, undulating shapes. Some are knitted and knotted, others loop and swoop. All defy the eye and bend the mind.
